The process is a permanent two-way exchange. It starts with a question and answer format, evolves into short role-plays and finishes with full- scale French conversation.

French language requirements for civil servants

There are minimum French language proficiency requirements for bilingual positions within the government, at the federal and/or provincial levels.

Materials provided

With French–4–Business, no instruction books are required.
  • The classroom is devoted to conversation;
  • We provide materials intended for use outside the class;
  • Materials include readings, exercises and other activities that reinforce what was learned in the class;
  • All materials are customized to meet the client’s specific needs.

Formats available

French–4–Business offers formats to accommodate all our clients’ schedules and learning styles, including:
  • One-on-one instruction for faster results;
  • Small group classes (2-5 people);
  • Total Immersion: 6-8 hours daily conversation for a few days;
  • Telephone conversation;
  • Email lessons, providing written activities and readings;
  • Special themed classes featuring tools used in today's workplace;

  • Assessment and placement;
  • Progress reports and periodic evaluation;
  • Follow-up and support via Email & phone.

An assessment and placement test is administered prior to any class, unless you are a perfect beginner. For better results, only clients with the same level may attend the same class.
